A kick ass start to the new year

We love the start of a new year when we put into practice our plans and aims for the coming year.  It is always a refreshing time and we find that when we start back at work, the whole team is refreshed, revived and raring to kick start the year with a new found fervour.   And this rings true for the start of 2014.

We have big plans for Millward this year and our focus this year is on YOU, our valued and loyal clients and friends.  Our aim is to nurture and develop our existing client relationships and to make sure our reputation for offering the best customer service is known by all.  So watch out for your invitation to join us for coffee!

We also have plans to update our company website, turn our Cave into a useable space and also to expand our team.  Our work load is in a healthy position and three months into the New Year and we’re at full speed with more work still coming in.

New Appointments
We start the New Year on a very positive high, winning a tender with a new client.  This year Millward will be working with Tamworth Borough Council on the redevelopment of the Tamworth Assembly Rooms.

We continue to work with Robert Woodhead Ltd and after the success of the three residential development sites we are please to say that Robert Woodhead Ltd has appointed us for a further set of residential developments.

‘Millwards,
Once again your prompt turn around on these items for the different projects is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.’ Michael Broadhurst, Robert Woodhead

It’s one of the biggest compliments when a client comes back to us with further work and this is why our focus for 2014 is on nurturing and developing our relationships with our existing clients.

Staff Updates
This year we are looking to reinvest internally and invest in our staff.  We are looking at increasing the CPD hours so as to further enhance our engineers and we are also looking at expanding the team.

In our new office space we have the capacity to bring in further engineers and now that our work load is healthy and continues to increase, it’s time for us to increase staff levels and push Millward further still.  March will see Jason McKeller joining us as a new principal engineer, and we can’t wait for him to join our team.

We are happy to take speculative CVs and will consider engineers from all experience levels, so if you are interested in a career with Millward, please contact Nicola Millward on 0115 941 4560.

Word Of Mouth
We don’t need to boast about how good we are, our clients are happy to do that for us!
